90-day plan
An engineer in a yellow rain coat steers a small workboat through rising teal water between copper stilts, with a clock tower in the rain.

90-day plan

Alderpin RoboticsHome repair robotsSep 14 to Dec 4, 2026

We build small six-legged repair robots that crawl behind kitchen appliances to find and replace broken parts in place.

In this plan, the city is the appliance market and the rising water is larger robotics rivals. Making fridge and stove repair robots profitable first keeps us ahead.

As a robotics company, we face a tight race against much larger labs, and here is how we will get past it: make our repair robots reliable and profitable on refrigerators and stoves first, before taking on the rest of the home.

This document is our role-playing, game-like way to plan, an experimental approach we have used for several months that has worked well for keeping the whole team aligned.

Three Alderpin Robotics team members talk with a visitor beside a Latch-2 robot at an appliance expo booth. Five casually dressed team members discuss plans around an office conference table with a Latch-2 robot in front. Two technicians test and adjust a Latch-2 robot at a cluttered workbench in front of opened kitchen appliances. A kneeling technician watches a Latch-2 robot climb the back panel of a refrigerator beside an open diagnostic laptop. Workers on a small production floor assemble several Latch-2 robots at workbenches lined with parts bins and hand tools.
